# Get a share

> Returns a share with the grantee's view of the resource in projection.

Returns a share with the grantee's view of the resource in `projection`. The publisher reads any of its shares; a grantee project, named by `project_id` or by its scoped credential, reads a share addressed to it or a public one, with its own `acceptance`.
